Are the products safe to be used around cats?

Are they safe to be used on puppies?

The products are not formulated to be used on puppies. Further, the usage of products on puppies should be reduced to the bare minimum, since they are more sensitive. If one wants to use BellyDog products on a puppy, please do a patch test before applying it all over the dog. This is a general recommendation for every dog product and brand. (The only products that I would recommend for puppies are: No stress (since it's not on the skin), Paw cream and Golden Oat.)

I found out that the Dental Care Spray contains Phenoxyethanol. Isn’t that dangerous for dogs?

Phenoxyethanol is allowed up to 1.0% in cosmetics and consumption by the European Commission. This applies to dogs and cats too. Our product contains less than 1.0% Phenoxyethanol, thus it will not trigger any allergy reaction to a dog with known history of non-allergy towards these ingredients. This makes our product safe.

How often and when should we give the activated charcoal treats?

The Activated Charcoal tablet can be given everyday as long as it is within the recommended dosage (1 tablet per 5kg dog weight) and your dog has access to water all day long in between meals. With regards to the diarrhea, perhaps you can try giving this treat and see if it makes a difference after 2-3 weeks. If not, kindly seek professional veterinarian consultation.

Which shampoo and conditioner do you recommend for yorkies?

We recommend to use the Green Power Shampoo or Oatmeal Shampoo. If the dog has a history of sensitive skin, Oatmeal Shampoo would be the best. For the conditioner, go for Shine Bright Conditioner.

Could I use Anti-Mites Spray against ticks?

My dog is a 6 year old beagle! All his life he lost a lot of hair! I’m looking for a shampoo that can alleviate the falls, but so far I haven’t found… any advice? Do you have any help?

It is pretty normal that dogs shed their hair regularly. However, we understand if you start to worry if your Beagle is shedding more than it should (causing some bald patches around the skin for example). If you suspect that your Beagle has really sensitive skin, we would recommend Belly Oatmeal Shampoo. We also highly recommend checking with the vet, it could be that your Beagle is allergic to the environment or to the food that is causing the shedding. Hope this helps!
